Welcome to Wairarapa Dog Obedience Club Inc! 

Where dogs love to have fun learning!

Once a working partnership has been formed there is little you cannot do. 

All classes are held at the Wairarapa A&P Showgrounds in Carterton. Domestic Training is held on a Tuesday evening and Agility is held on a Monday evening. If it rains we train under cover when possible.

Our club provides 4 courses a year in Domestic dog training where you can have fun with your best friend and learn new things at the same time. Courses run for 8 weeks during Summer and Autumn while a 6 week course is run in Winter.

We realize the importance of living with a well behaved dog and our classes hopefully give people the opportunity to learn how to train their dog and to teach their dog some basic good manners. If after completing either the puppy class or beginners class you may wish to advance to other dog training areas such as Agility , RallyO or Obedience . An obedient dog becomes an enjoyable part of the family, a companion instead of a nuisance, and even a sporting companion.

The Wairarapa Dog Obedience Club is now a NZKC Canine Good Citizen registered club.
